When I first heard of it, I paid it no mind because I was still fascinated with blogs. Just say it, I am severely challenged regarding the web. It took me a while to realize that there was absolutely more to the internet than meets the eye. There is a whole lot of those too and they can really consume all your time but, if I remember correctly, blogging held my attention the longest because there is something about writing that attracts me. I do know that I am no good at it but I just love to write stuff. It makes no difference that there were no subscribers. Writing was good enough to keep me satisfied. Well, for a while, anyway. I got sick of doing the same things, namely, writing or blogging, or more importantly, I ran out of topics to blog about. I sorely needed a change to keep from going bonkers and I turned my focus on other things like getting visitors. So I spent some time looking at social bookmarking. Nothing in depth, just superficial stuff like, how does it work and plain and simple things like that. The excellent thing about social bookmarking sites is that it requires no masteral degree. You sign up and submit your sites and they accept it. Then the magic begins. Spiders find your sites and rank them. cool! I have had a site rank in number one on Google’s search pages after I submitted it to a few social bookmarking sites.
